Copycat
A covert word-based social deduction game between Civilians and Imposters
How To Play
- Look at your assigned word at the top of the screen.
- Everyone says one word that is related to the core word, then votes someone out anonymously.
-
Civilians
- Have the same core word.
- The word Civilians say should be related enough to the core word that other Civilians know that you know it, but vague enough so that the Imposters can't guess it.
-
Imposters
- Undercovers get a different, but related "scrambled" word.
- Copycat starts blind but can scramble a specific person's word. They also do not know who their imposter friends are.
- Core word changes every time a player is eliminated.
- Civilians win by voting to eliminate Imposters. Imposters win by reaching player parity — or correctly naming the final round's core word.
